Collab Potential
Collab Potential#
What it is: Finds YouTube channels in your niche that are the right size for a collaboration — similar subscriber count, overlapping topics, and an active upload schedule.
What it produces#
A ranked list of up to 12 collaboration candidates, each with:
- Match score (0–100)
- Subscriber count, video count
- Match reasons (Similar size, Similar niche, Shared topic, Active channel, High engagement)
- Direct link to their YouTube channel page
How to use it#
- Go to Tools → Collab Potential → + New Search.
- Select your brand (must have a YouTube channel URL linked).

- Country — filter results by channel location (optional)
- Click Find Collaboration Candidates.
- Review the results (~10–20 seconds).
- Click + on any channel to save it to your brand.
Match score breakdown#
| Factor | Max points | Criteria |
|---|---|---|
| Subscriber ratio | 35 | Closest to 1:1 ratio with your channel scores highest |
| Keyword overlap | 40 | More shared keywords = higher score |
| Activity | 15 | 50+ videos and strong average views |
| Engagement | 10 | High views-to-subscribers ratio |
Channels outside your chosen subscriber range are automatically filtered out (score = 0).
Saving channels#

- Show a ✓ badge
- Appear as quick-add suggestions in Competitor Tracking when you set up a new job
- Can be removed by clicking the ✓ again
Tips#
- Use 2–3 specific keywords rather than broad ones — "personal finance for students" is more useful than "finance".
- Try different subscriber ranges for the same keywords to find both peers and slightly larger targets.
- A high match score doesn't guarantee a good collab — check the channel content manually before reaching out.
