Comment Analysis
Comment Analysis#
What it is: AI-powered analysis of any YouTube video's comments. Surfaces sentiment, topic clusters, action items, and the comments worth reading first — so you don't have to scroll through hundreds of replies.
What it produces#
| Output | Details |
|---|---|
| Sentiment breakdown | Percentage of positive, neutral, and negative comments |
| Topic clusters | Recurring themes grouped into named clusters |
| Action items | Prioritized list of things viewers asked for or complained about |
| Top comments | Most-liked comments with AI-generated explanations of why they resonated |
| Trending theme | The single dominant subject across the comment thread |
| Language detection | Auto-detects the dominant comment language |
How to use it#
- Go to Analyze → Comment Analysis → + New Analysis.
- Select your brand.
- Paste a YouTube video URL (one of your own, a competitor's, or any public video).
- Click Analyze and wait 10–30 seconds.
- Read the report:
- Start with Action items — these are concrete things to do for the next video.
- Topic clusters show what your audience actually cares about.
- Top comments reveal what kind of replies get the most engagement.
Tips#
- Run it on competitor videos to learn what their audience wants — then make a better version.
- The more comments a video has, the richer the clusters. Videos under ~30 comments still work but produce shallower clusters.
- Re-run periodically on long-tail videos — late commenters often shift the theme.
Costs#
Each analysis uses 1 credit. The cost is independent of comment count.
