Playlist Optimizer
Playlist Optimizer#
What it is: Analyzes a YouTube playlist and uses AI to suggest an optimized title, description, and video order to maximize watch time and searchability.
What it produces#
- An optimized playlist title
- An optimized playlist description
- A recommended video order with a reason for each position change
How to use it#
- Go to Tools → Playlist Optimizer → + New Optimization.
- Select your brand (must have a YouTube channel URL linked).
- Your playlists are loaded automatically — click the one you want to optimize.
- If your channel has no playlists yet, or you want to optimize a different channel's playlist, use the manual URL entry option.
- Wait while TubeWizz fetches video statistics and runs the AI analysis (~15–30 seconds).
- Review the results:
- Title — before vs. after comparison
- Description — full optimized text, copy with one click
- Video order — table showing each video's original and new position, with a reason for the change
- Apply the changes manually in YouTube Studio → Content → Playlists.
How the order is determined#
The AI considers:
- Video view count and engagement rate
- Logical topic progression
- Evergreen vs. time-sensitive content
- Typical watch-time patterns for series
Tips#
- Playlists with 5–30 videos get the most actionable reordering suggestions.
- Review the "reason" column in the order table — it explains the AI's logic so you can decide whether to follow each recommendation.
- Re-run the optimization after adding new videos to keep the playlist fresh.
